Tenant's Title Policy

In order to off-set the concerns of both tenants and government pressure, CLS Title offers a Tenant’s Title Insurance, available to residential landlords or their managing agents to provide a level of protection where the tenant is evicted from their home through no fault of their own. Insolvency, mortgage repossession, breaches of freehold and leasehold covenants as well as strict planning enforcement could all result in a tenant being evicted.

The CLS Tenant’s Title Insurance policy enables landlords to provide tenants with the reassurance that they will receive recompense at a much needed time should such an event come to pass.

The CLS Title policy provides tenants with a sum of money to help pay for extra expense and disturbance costs incurred when having to seek alternative accommodation.

Premiums are one off payments based on the level of cover required and the period of cover chosen.

Landlords can purchase cover on individual cases or in bulk and simply report the property details as and when a tenancy is created.
