With the changes now facing the Legal profession, the Society for Licensed Conveyancers (SLC) is holding a
6 CPD point conference on 22nd November, at the Riverside Centre in Derby, to provide an update on these
issues. CLS are pleased to be the Gold Sponsor of this event where the speakers will comprise of key industry
‘movers and shakers’.

Given the current challenges and opportunities facing the conveyancing profession “Embracing the Future of Conveyancing” is a conference not to be missed!

The SLC has put together an exciting and invigorating array of topics that are of vital interest at the present time. Jennifer Bourne from the Council of Mortgage Lenders will give a presentation on mortgage fraud; Paul Broadhead from the Building Societies Association will provide an update on the subject of Lenders Panels. Victor Olowe, CEO of the Council of Licensed Conveyancers, will give his thoughts on the future for conveyancers and the legal profession. There will also be Alex Roy from the Legal Services Board speaking on Alternative Business Structures in light of the provisions of the Legal Services Act.

There will also be a detailed presentation on the SLC solution for Lenders Panels as well as a series of updates on what is new in the world of conveyancing.

Entrance to the conference will be £110.00 (£55.00 for Licensed Conveyancers) but if you enrol before the 4th November, this will be reduced to £100.00 (£50.00 for Licensed Conveyancers).
