Aaron Jones

Flood Consultant, D-Risk Group

Aaron is a Director at Ashfield Solutions Group and is also the Flood and Climate Change Lead at D-Risk Group, which is part of CLSQ. His extensive knowledge of the intricacies around flood risk and its impacts upon the UK property lifecycle for owners, insurers and lenders means that he is in prime place to offer value driven risk management advice to a broad range of stakeholders. Aaron has been instrumental in the development and rollout of the D-Risk FloodPro report, designed to aid insurers and loss adjusters to successfully deliver the FlooRe Build Back Better scheme. 

Graham Brogden MBE

GJB Consultancy & Resilico Ambassador

Graham spent 20 years working in the insurance industry for Aviva. Prior to retiring in 2019, he was the Head of Technical Claims Service at Aviva, responsible for the major loss teams for property and specialty lines. Graham is also a former Chair of the DEFRA Property Flood Resilience Round Table, and is now an ambassador for Resilico, which is an innovative mobile service and data platform, enabling Property Flood Resilience to be mainstreamed in adherence to the industry code of practice.

Ian Gibbs

Sedgwick Loss Adjusters

Ian is a National Technical Manager for Sedgwick UK. His background is in the Insurance sector, initially as an adjuster/surveyor, project managing the claim/repair of domestic and commercial buildings. Then as a manager focusing on repairing building damage from general perils, specifically flood. He has developed a service to the Insurance market, to provide flood resilient advice and repairs. Ian also works with the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM), producing and delivering the training materials to Property Flood Resilient stakeholders including surveyors, insurers and engineers within the flood and wider construction industry.
